Weather Based Irrigation
The feature rich Intelli-Sense Series of controllers incorporates
Weather-TRAK enabled software. This controller uses pre-programmed
site-specific information and real-time daily weather updates to

How Intelli-Sense Works
Intelli-Sense uses two technological advances to increase irrigation convenience and SAVE WATER.
First - it incorporates Weather TRAK scheduling software to automatically calculate the optimum irrigation schedule
based on a series of self-prompting questions answered upon
installation. Variables include sprinkler type, precipitation rate,
efficiency rate, soil type, plant type, root depth, micro climate, and
slope factor. Answering these questions develops benchmark run and
cycle times without any guesswork. All you do is input start times and
water days, Intelli-Sense does the rest for you.
Second - Intelli-Sense controllers receive daily weather updates
gathered from weather stations (there are 15 weather stations within 50 Km of Wasaga Beach). This data is generated from
government-owned weather stations throughout Canada and the U.S. and delivered via
ET Everywhere to the Intelli-Sense controller. This system ensures you
receive accurate weather data for your location from calibrated weather
stations. No need to buy costly weather stations or worry about the
maintenance, calibration and upkeep of delicate sensors. If the system
sees weather data that does not make sense, it won’t use it. Based on
daily updates, irrigation schedules are adjusted automatically to
ensure precise water amounts are delivered – every time.
